CCR'S SALE'S POLICY

I breed for personality, type, fur quality, and fur color in my mini rex rabbits.  All rabbits are given individual attention multiple times each day and are kept indoors in a light, temperature, and humidity controlled rabbitry.  As such, I take great pride and care in my herd and view this sale?s policy as a binding contract between me (the seller) and you (the buyer).  Please fully read the following policy before contacting me about buying a rabbit from my rabbitry.  If you have questions, please ask them.  I hold it to be your responsibility to know the rules and follow them.

At any time, I have the right to terminate the sale of a rabbit at my discretion.

Rabbits will always be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.  To reserve a rabbit for purchase, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.  I will accept cash, a postal money order, or a personal check for the deposit and the remaining balance due on a rabbit.  Payments made through personal checks must clear before a deposit or sale is final.  At this time, I do not accept credit cards or paypal.  A rabbit is not ?sold? until all money has been received by me.  If I cancel the sale, you will get a full refund.  If you cancel the purchase of the rabbit, you forfeit your deposit.  "Sold" means that the rabbit is paid for, "Deposit received" means that the rabbit is spoken for but is not sold, and "Pending" means that the rabbit is being held until the deposit is received.  I will take names for people waiting for pending rabbits.  The only reason that I ask for a deposit is to ensure the sale of the particular rabbit.  If you fail to pick up your rabbit on the agreed upon date or show, you forfeit your deposit and the rabbit goes back on the ?For Sale? list.

 

Prices for rabbits are subject to change at any time prior to the agreement on a sale, and will depend on the age, development, and quality of the particular rabbit.

All show and brood rabbits will be sold with a pedigree and ear tattoo.  Pet rabbits will only be sold with a birth certificate (no pedigree or ear tattoo).

I cannot guarantee the show or breeding quality of any rabbits sold from my rabbitry or the offspring of any rabbits from my herd.  Both show quality and breeding potential/success depend upon many factors, many of which are outside of my control.

 

I will not replace a rabbit or provide a refund unless I believe the situation justly merits said action.  All rabbits sold from my rabbitry are to my knowledge healthy and free from any genetic problems.  I will guarantee the health of my rabbits for up to two weeks post-sale.  If the rabbit dies within that time frame, I will refund your money.  However, you must provide a statement from a certified veterinarian that the rabbit died as a result of unknown genetic problems.  You must also provide proof of the rabbit?s death, the contact information for the veterinarian, and return the pedigree.  I will not be held liable for any medical expenses.

 

I will be willing to ship a rabbit, but it will be incumbent upon the buyer to make all necessary travel arrangements with the airline.  I expect to be compensated in advance for the purchase of a shipping kennel, necessary accessories (food and water containers, food, bedding materials), and a health certificate from a certified veterinarian.  If you will be attending a rabbit show in Alaska, I will bring along your rabbit to provide it to you at the show (see the list below for shows that I will be attending in 2008).
